Remove stems, seeds and veins from dried red chile pods.
Wash pods in warm water.
Place in a pan and cover with boiling water.
Let the pods stand in water unitl the pulp separates easily from the tough outer skin.
Place chiles (8) and half cup water in blender.
Process until chiles are broke in medium size pieces. Do not puree.
Process through a cone shaped ricer and mall pestle.
Continue process until all red pods are processed. Freeze or use immediately.
